About Us
Environmental Compression Services Inc. offers environmental consulting services for companies in the oil and natural gas industry. Serving Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and locations throughout West Virginia, New York, and Ohio, we provide noise and air quality testing services in addition to ensuring that gas compressor installations meet compliance standards.
Backed by more than 30 years of experience, our team helps companies obtain the necessary permits and approvals needed for swift installations of new compressor equipment. We also provide stack testing to ensure compliance with federal and state standards, and are proud to be a registered environmental laboratory in the state of Pennsylvania.
Our founder entered this field immediately after graduating from Penn State with a degree in mechanical engineering. He started by serving as a designer for a company that sold gas compressors, eventually progressing to sales where he helped clients rent out gas compressor packages.
After several company mergers, he decided to start his own business. Our initial focus was on air permits, but demand for our services soon led to total compliance assurance. Today, we have invested in numerous analyzers and cutting-edge environmental technology, enabling us to perform thorough and accurate analyses in the gas and air industry.
